Our Sponsors and Supporters

We are very proud to announce that this year (2013) we have very kindly been awarded £200 from Sussex Police.

The money will be used to buy prizes and awards for the students across the County in our 21 active schools.

Prizes will be given to students at the Awards Ceremony (5th July @ Shoreham Academy) for the best Reading Passports, most inventive questions and best over all student.

We would like to say huge thanks to Sussex Police for their donation and their support of the ABAs this year.

Sussex Police Grant Presented to ABA School Worthing High

Chief Inspector and District Commander for Adur and Worthing, Jo Banks presented Worthing High School with a cheque for £200 today. The grant is from the Sussex Police Property Act Fund which redistributes income from the sale of stolen goods.

Jo Banks said: “Sussex Police are really pleased to be supporting this great project and we think the ABA scheme is a brilliant local idea. Securing the engagement of the short listed authors to attend the Awards Ceremony meeting students and their parents is a great strength. Well done for developing the programme for local schools in Sussex and I hope you all continue to enjoy your reading.”
