Important Upcoming Dates

Friday 21st June 2024 - The ABA Awards Night

Mike Lancaster started small – as a baby, actually – but grew up to be a professional fib-teller and author of the 0.4 sequence of novels.

He was born in Huntingdon, Cambs and is now a resident of Cambridge; is married to his childhood sweetheart; and has far too many animals to count.

He prefers DC comics to Marvel; coffee to tea; Star Trek to Star Wars; cows to burgers; Arkham Asylum to Arkham City; Jaws to Citizen Kane; white wine to red; punk to funk; Swamp Thing to Man Thing; Doctor Who to Doctor Zhivago; Sandman to Mad Men; Macs to PCs. Ghibli to Disney; Books to e-Books.

0.4 was his first novel for teenagers and he was our wonderful and worthy GOLD award winner in 2012. Very luckily for us Mike has agreed to return to present this years GOLD, SILVER and BRONZE awards.

We are so pleased Mike is coming back to us for the awards evening on Friday 5th July. It’ll be a huge pleasure to see him again.

0.4: It’s a brave new world. ‘My name is Kyle Straker. And I don’t exist anymore.’ So begins the story of Kyle Straker, recorded on to old audio tapes. You might think these tapes are a hoax. But perhaps they contain the history of a past world…If what the tapes say are true, it means that everything we think we know is a lie. And if everything we know is a lie does that mean that we are, too?

Gold Award Winner of The Sussex Coast Schools Amazing Book Awards 2012.

Mike will be available on the night to sign copies of his novels 0.4 and its sequel 1.4.
